We just finished a prototype of new generation CNC gearbox for P90 airsoft weapon. Last version had problems with springs above M140 and get broke because of high pressure, so we connected upper part where is cylinder with front part. So it’s gearbox ver. VI, but with intergrated motor cage. Motor cage was intergrated because of removing dimension differencies in CNC gearboxes and casted motor cages. They are now one whole part without dimension problems. Motor adjusting is the same way, as normal. This gearbox is only for P90 airsoft replicas and it will be sold only with CNC hop-up chamber. From our own experience, we know that biggest problem with airsoft P90 is non-holding/moving Hop-Up chamber when you shoot. Basic Hop-Up chamber is on little spring and even on low FPS setups, there are a lot of air leaks.
Hop-Up chamber by RetroArms with CNC gearbox RetroArms are connected together with two bolts, so they hold together and they don’t move. You can even test your gearbox without need to putting it to body.
Installing to the body is the same way as usual – from back of the body and it’s sealed with special platform, which is replacement of original plastic part. This way is best for right setup, without any misalignment of barrel. Thanks to used material, you can use the most powerful springs, without doubts of any gearbox brokes.
Testing will be with new Tokyo Marui airsoft replica.
